Green School, Bali / facilitation

Bali, Indonesia, 2016
Facilitation in service design tools at Green School .  The school applies a pioneering teaching model by giving its students a natural, holistic and student-centered education in one of the most amazing environments on the planet.  I was a visitor speaker and teacher for a group of high school students working on their social enterprise GS Bio Bus.  Bio Bus is a closed loop business model designed to collect used cooking oil from local warungs (restaurants) and transform it into soap.  The students have full control over the process which is facilitated by teachers of various subjects.  Through this experience they developed new knowledge on how to apply service design mapping tools to identify new touchpoints for communication for the local villages to get involved.  They also identified the key stakeholders in the Bio Bus project and extended to new potential ones for which they created proposals of how to approach.
